    Dymondwood Knife scales. Dymondwood is a product that was made by rutland plywood which burnt down in 2014 . It is very hard to get now . It is made of hardwood dyed veneer glued with epoxy resin and high heat . It is waterproof .It will not float in water . Easy to work with . Work down to 0000 steel wool and then buff it out .No finish is needed . Makes a very durable knife handle .Photos of knife just to show what it can look like. 5 inches long 1 1/2 inches wide just under 3/8 thick .
