You are looking at Continental Industries Solid state Non-Zero-Crossing relay 40A 24-280VAC Output. These relays have a control voltage range of 3 to 32 volts DC. Part Number: S505-0SJ440-005
This model was specialty designed to be Non-Zero-Crossing for use in Theater lighting control dimmer packs.
Being Non-Zero-Crossing, this relay will turn on as soon as the control voltage is applied.
They will not wait for the zero crossing of the AC sine wave. No soft start.
Not for inductive loads.
These relays are new old stock from the mid 1980's, being sold as-is and were stored in loose in a box.
